A Communist terrorist group is wreaking havoc in Central America.

"Terrorists" is a comedy about life in post-9/11 America: Curtis Gorfurter, small-town police chief, unhappy with his lowly status and eager to prove himself in the War Against Terror, interprets a series of unrelated events as proof of an impending terrorist attack. When a graduate student of Mideastern descent arrives in town to authenticate the world's largest stool, he unwittingly becomes the police chief's prime terrorist suspect. In creating this climate of fear, the chief acquires the power and the perks he's always dreamed of. And when he raises the town's alert level from brick to tangerine, panic ensues and common sense takes a holiday.

French film produced and distributed by Gaumont (catalogue number 1590) originally named "La Terroriste" (as registered in the BnF (Bibliothèque nationale de France) in 1907 and as published in Gaumont's catalogue of January 1908), the film was known in the U.S. by the title "Terrorist's Remorse" (according to the "Revised List of High-Class Original Films Made by Gaumont, Urban-Eclipse, Théophile Pathé, Carlo Rossi, Ambrosio and Other Foreign and American Companies", 1908, available in the Internet Archive website) and eventually changed to "Les Terroristes en Russie" in France (per Gaumont's catalogue of July 1909). Max Charlier and Mlle Loisier star in the film, but its director is still unknown, although Francis Lacassin attributed it to Louis Feuillade in 1995.

Not just another documentary on the French resistance movement, this film focuses on one particular group of underground fighters in France: those from Eastern Europe. Many were Jews and all had fled their native countries before the war broke out. They were among the most staunch and fearless enemies of fascism, as shown here in personal interviews and memoirs of war-time experiences. But the most famous of these immigrants were 23 who were rounded up among several hundred Parisians in 1943, tried for their activities, and executed -- all were immigrants under the leadership of the Armenian poet Manouchian. After their execution, Paris was papered with posters decrying these 23 martyrs as "foreign communists."

Sebastain "Bash" Danye, a legendary gun for hire hangs up his weapon to retire peacefully with his 'it's complicated' partner Renee. Bash and Renee end up killing the men in self-defense to find out that Maddie escaped a sophisticated trafficking ring, and those guys came to recapture their top earner. We find out Maddie's sister was killed in front of her, so she sought out the one person capable of wiping out an entire criminal syndicate. Knowing retaliation is imminent, the motley crew holster up for one last round.
